Established more than 30 years ago by little people, the AQPPT is a nonprofit organization unique to Quebec. Administered by adult members with dwarfism and parents of children of small stature, it operates in three key areas, providing:

• individual support to its members such as assisting them in taking steps to obtain services or helping parents of children of small stature from the time a diagnosis is made.
• collective defense of rights to have dwarfism recognized as a fully-fledged disability.
• information and public awareness.

The AQPPT brings together individuals and organizations across the province, sharing its unique experience on this little-known medical issue.
