Why
Become a Member
The services that the AQPPT offers to its
members and the community at large are essential, but we need the
support of as many people as possible to continue fostering the social,
academic, and professional integration of little people.
Besides the financial support provided by
every contribution, a strong membership gives us a strong presence with
government bodies and donors. By becoming a member of the AQPPT, you
support us in defending the interests of people with dwarfism, and you
significantly contribute to the development of the Association.
As a member of the Association, you will
receive the Association Newsletter and be entitled to a discount when
registering for social activities at the AQPPT (Christmas party,
provincial meeting, etc.) If you or your children are of small stature,
you will also have access to support services and personalized
assistance and have voting rights at annual general meetings of the
Association. In addition, we will assign you a personal password to
gain access to our website section reserved for members.
The members' section of our website includes:
- Pictures, addresses, and additional
information on technical aids and adaptations.
- Links and forms to help little people to
assert their rights (parking stickers for persons with disabilities,
tax credits, (Work Integration contract), Home Adaptation Program, etc.)
- A directory of specialized resources
including more than 500 addresses.
- A list of members who have agreed to
disclose personal information online to facilitate communication access.

to Donate
Print, complete and send a Donation Form
with your cheque. Early in the new year, you will receive a receipt for
tax purposes.
Thank you! Your generosity will help us

- Providing information and support to
little people facing medical, material, or social hardships.
- Welcoming and informing parents with a
newly diagnosed child.
- Staying active in the volunteer sector
working for the rights of persons with disabilities.
- Organizing social inclusion activities to
break the isolation, etc.

Volunteer Work
Do you wish to take part in a good cause?
Do you want to contribute to the smooth functioning of the Association
by donating your time? Do you have special skills that you want to
share with us? You are then welcome to:
- Perform work stuffing envelopes at our
Montreal office.
- Organize events at our social gatherings.
- Research and write articles.
- Sell tickets during our fundraising
activities.
- Various other activities.
